If you do not have a Password, please select the Need/Forgot Password link from the login or home page of our web site, or go directly to our Password Recovery page. Then, simply enter your Aeroplan number, click on "Submit" and follow the instructions.

What is "phishing"?
"Phishing" is one of the most common types of email fraud that takes place when a perpetrator sends a phony email message that appears to come from a legitimate company, in an attempt to obtain personal and/or financial information. A typical phishing email will direct recipients to click on a link that re-directs them to a phony website that looks like the real website. Once on the phony site, the email recipient is asked to disclose personal information (e.g., a credit card number or account information) that is later used to commit fraud. Sometimes a phishing email will ask the recipient to email back various personal details or can also have attachments which may contain potential email viruses.
What do I do if I receive a suspicious email from Aeroplan or Air Canada that I believe might be an email scam?
If you receive an email claiming to be from Aeroplan or Air Canada that you believe to be fraudulent, do not respond and do not click on any links or open attachments contained within the email. Notify Aeroplan by calling: 1-800-361-5373 and delete the email after the call. Note that if the email is deleted without clicking on any links, there is absolutely no risk to your Aeroplan account.
Aeroplan and Air Canada use email as an essential means of communication with our members. For example, email is used to enable you to check-in for your air travel within 24 hours of your trip, or to take advantage of promotional offers or enter contests. As a result, it is important for members to be extremely cautious if they receive a suspicious email from either company. An example of a suspicious email would be a flight booking confirmation email when you haven’t made a travel reservation.
Important tips to protect yourself from phishing emails:
- Be suspicious of any e-mail containing urgent requests for personal or financial information (Aeroplan would never ask for this information).
- Many phishing emails make false claims about the status of your account and ask you to update or validate your account by clicking on an embedded link in the email. Instead, go directly to the service provider’s website to update information.
- Never e-mail password or financial information.
- Get in the habit of looking at a website’s address line (in your web browser’s address bar) and be concerned if it displays anything unusual or suspicious.
- Regularly check your account details by going directly to the service provider’s website to ensure that all transactions are legitimate and that all personal information is accurate and up to date.
- Never click on attachments as they may cause you to download a virus.
- Be suspicious of typos and poor grammar in the content of emails appearing to come from legitimate companies.
